Seven people died at the scene, while three others were injured, local reports said. The victims were supporters of Greek football club PAOK Thessaloniki and were traveling from Greece toward France. Three passengers survived.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"991\" id=\"p-1\">Dorel S\u0103ndesc, manager of the Timi\u0219oara County Hospital, said the three Greek supporters who were taken to hospital are conscious, cooperative and in stable condition, adding they could be transferred to another medical facility if they wish. He described their survival as \u201calmost miraculous,\u201d according to the same reports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1038\" id=\"p-2\"><strong data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1038\">Driver reportedly had drugs in his system<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1370\" id=\"p-3\">Preliminary results from toxicology tests conducted at Romania\u2019s National Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) reportedly indicate the minibus driver had drugs in his blood, sources said. In addition, the front-seat passenger allegedly told investigators the driver took \u201cseveral puffs\u201d from a cannabis (marijuana) cigarette.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1599\" data-is-last-node data-is-only-node id=\"p-4\">Authorities said the investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the tragedy.
