{"id":705723,"date":"2026-07-30T12:56:04","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microscopemedia.com\/?p=705723"},"modified":"2026-07-30T12:56:04","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:56:04","slug":"bolojan-we-are-facing-both-an-electricity-crisis-and-a-fuel-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microscopemedia.com\/?p=705723","title":{"rendered":"Bolojan: We are facing both an electricity crisis and a fuel crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"30.641653072322\">\n<div class=\"sgb-google-buttons\">\n<div class=\"display-flex justify-center google-logo\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"mg-x-auto\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" src=\"https:\/\/microscopemedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/bolojan-we-are-facing-both-an-electricity-crisis-and-a-fuel-crisis.png\" alt><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p id=\"p-0\">Ilie Bolojan announced that representatives from the Ministry of Energy in Bucharest are collaborating with their counterparts in Moldova to find the best solutions for overcoming the challenges posed by the current security situation. \u201eWe are facing both an electricity crisis and a fuel crisis,\u201d stated Bolojan.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p-1\">He also mentioned that he had spoken with his counterpart in Chi\u0219in\u0103u about the construction of two new 400-kV interconnection lines: Suceava\u2013B\u0103l\u021bi and Gutina\u0219\u2013Str\u0103\u0219eni. \u201eThe Romanian government approved the designation of the section on Romanian territory as a project of national importance concerning the electricity transmission grid this spring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"p-2\">These two power interconnection lines are designed to enhance energy security and increase the capacity for electricity exchange between Romania and Moldova, as well as with the European grid.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p-3\">Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan expressed his hope that necessary decisions will be made by the end of the year to begin EU negotiations with Moldova on all clusters. \u201eThe Republic of Moldova has already shown significant progress in this process, having started accession negotiations for Cluster 1, Fundamental Values, and Cluster 6, External Relations.
