Călin Georgescu is currently under investigation for several serious allegations, including instigating actions against the constitutional order, disseminating false information, and making continuous false statements regarding the sources of financing for his electoral campaign and declarations of assets.

Additional accusations involve initiating or establishing an organization with fascist, racist, or xenophobic characteristics, joining or supporting such a group in any form, promoting the cult of individuals responsible for genocide and war crimes, and advocating public promotion of fascist, legionary, racist, or xenophobic ideas, concepts, or doctrines.

He is also accused of initiating or supporting an anti-Semitic organization.
